    Black Veil Brides

Black Veil Brides are an five-piece American metalcore band from Los Angeles, USA consisting of Andy Six (Vocals), Jake Pitts (Guitar), Ashley Purdy (Bass), Jinxx (Guitar/Violin), and Christian Coma (Drums). The Black Veil Brides are a breath of fresh air and bringing back real Rock N’ Roll! Led by front man and lead vocalist Andy 6, the Los Angeles based band are bringing back the live show spectacle made famous by, among others, The New York Dolls, Alice Cooper and The Misfits.

Their music contains a message of hope for those who don’t quite fit in, redefining what it means to be an “outcast.” BVB’s first album “WE STITCH THESE WOUNDS”, released July 20th, 2010, became the #1 Independent Album, #3 Hard Rock, #10 Rock, #25 Digital, and #36 in the Top 200 Albums charting worldwide on Billboard, on the very first week of its release! This internet sensation, with already over 15,000,000 views on Youtube for their hit single, “KNIVES and PENS”, is clearly taking the world by storm. They are Hot Topic’s newest best-selling band, and are gaining new fans, “Bridesmaids/Ushers” every day!

Delivering songs with the message of hope and strength that is wrapped up in the theatrics and raw energy of an early Alice Cooper show, Black Veil Brides have been building a legion of followers that they call ‘The Bridesmaids.’ With their fans supporting their every move, Black Veil Brides are set to explode onto the music scene with their unique brand of gothic screamo that has fans all over the world excited about the release of We Stitch These Wounds.

Nothing about this band is subtle, including Mr. 6’s over the top rock star persona, the garish Zombie like makeup the band prefers and their ghoulish stage props. With 6’s haunting vocals setting the tone, BVB’s sound in their earliest recordings such as “Sex & Hollywood”, “Hello My Hate“ and “A Devil For Me” shows an influence by such legendary bands as Generation X, The Damned and Lords of the New Church while more recent recordings such as “We Stitch These Wounds,” “The Gunsling”, “Knives and Pens” and even the ballad “Mortician’s Daughter” clearly demonstrates the band’s growth, both musically and lyrically, and how they measure up to their contemporaries. What makes Black Veil Brides even more unique is how they also pay homage in their hooks and melodies to the anthemic rock popularized by bands such as Poison and KISS. Black Veil Brides energy is infectious and with an army of devoted fans and their debut album set to be released this year, BVB are ready to take their place among the most popular young rock bands in the world today.

“Be yourself and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.” - Andy Six, lead singer of Black Veil Brides.
