This is dedication.

I hadn’t heard that much about him until he was in Gaga’s video for Born This Way. Her makeup to match his tattoos was pretty awesome, not gonna lie. His name is Rick Genest and he’s from Montreal, Canada.
Just Google “Zombie Boy”. His tats are crazy…
“I do the whole zombie thing. Lots of fakir work, biting nails, blockhead, brain floss, because it’s gross. I put a lot of things in my nose. Geek work, like eating worms, brains, fish eggs. It’s kind of clowning as well. A zombie who goes through pain. It’s just a macabre show.” — Rick Genest

Suburbs | ARCADE FIRE
I think it’s sad that a lot of people nowadays can’t make the time to just sit and enjoy music. Rather, we consume music like a Happy Meal, barely listening and skipping through if it doesn’t suit our mood. While this provides some benefits, it also prevents us from truly immersing ourselves in the musician’s voices, the guitar’s riffs and the drums’ rhythms and beats. Today, I actually got the chance to put aside a couple of minutes to listen to a few of Arcade Fire’s songs of their “Suburbs” album and they were fantastic. It’s no wonder they won the Grammy.
In an age where we consume everything, even music, at such an alarmingly rapid pace, it’s important that artists force us to take the time to listen. It’s through that force that they capture their true listeners and fans.
