I absolutely adore this song. It is my favorite Lil Wayne song. I really like what they have done with the video treatment, not what you would expect. He tells his story through art and sees the picture of himself as the “mirror.”

I spent my morning chillin’ out in the sun listening to the new album from Lil’ Wayne The Carter IV. This song, called “Mirror” is by far my favorite song on the album. This song in my eyes, is the saving track off an album that is kinda forgettable. The Carter IV isn’t as good as some of Wayne’s other work but this song makes up for it.

The beat for this song was actually passed up by Kanye West, Nas, and Drake before it ended up getting picked up by Wayne. Looks like it got into the right hands. Read more here.

Smokin’ hot new video and great summer song! I have loved this song from the moment I heard it a few months back and I have been hoping they would make a video for it. I am pleasantly surprised by the video. They made it unique and different when they could have just made a typical club video. Take a look and loose control!
